Kristen Stewart 'Patah Hati' Ditinggal James Gandolfini

Kapanlagi.com - Kristen Stewart has paid tribute to James Gandolfini.

The Sopranos actor passed away at the age of 51 last week (June 19) from a heart attack while on holiday in Italy.

Stewart starred opposite Gandolfini in the 2010 independent movie Welcome to the Rileys, in which she played a struggling teenage stripper and prostitute. Gandolfini portrayed a father of a deceased child who attempts to save Stewart's character from a poor life.

In a statement released on Entertainment Weekly, Stewart said that she was "gutted" upon hearing of Gandolfini's passing.

"When I heard of James' passing I was in New Orleans, where we met shooting, and every memory flooded back and gutted me," she said.

"I'll hold that time near to me forever. He was immeasurably great. My heart goes out to his beloved family."

Speaking in 2009 about Gandolfini, Stewart said: "Jim was the s**t. He's quiet. We got along well because we let it happen the way it's supposed to. It was very organic, very cool."

Gandolfini's funeral will take place in Manhattan on Thursday, June 27.
